Amogh Warhadpande

Deputy General Manager, Training

Amogh is equipping the Air Works Aviation Academy to handle multifaceted portfolios of CAR 147 Type Training, Mandatory Training stipulated by CAR 145 and the Students Program. He leads the Training Team at Hosur and has more than two decades experience in the Aviation field. He holds a Masters in Controls and Instrumentation from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and has completed his MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi.

Ramakrishnan K

Training Manager

Ramakrishnan leads the CAR 145 and CAR 147 program. He has a vast experience spanning almost two decades as a Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with Jet Airways India Ltd. He is fully qualified on the Airbus A 320 and B737 (CFB56-7ENGINE) NG Aircraft. In addition, he has more than two decades of experience in the IAF and is also qualified in NDT level II in radiography, FPI, and MPI techniques in nuclear environment.  He has completed DME and Graduation in Mechanical Engineering.

Rajiv Ranjan

Examination Manager - CAR 147

Rajiv Ranjan has 18 years of rich experience in aviation maintenance. He has performed various roles in Quality Control, Engineering Planning, Line Maintenance and Base Maintenance with scheduled airline, non-scheduled operator and MRO. His expertise also includes carrying out Boro scope inspection of turbine engines and aircraft weighing. He is the Examination Manager for the 147 Trainings and also performs duties of Instructor for Gen Fam and HF.

B. Rajini

Quality Manager

Rajini is a  seasoned Quality Management  professional with nearly 22 years of aviation experience in the field of CAR 21 Production, 145 Maintenance, Technical Services, CAMO, Rotary Wing Pilot Training, Stores Inspection,  NDT , QA and QC activities. He is a DGCA CAR 66 AML Holder with nearly 10 years of actual aircraft maintenance experience as Support/ Certifying staff in HAL, UB Air, Kingfisher Corporate Aviation Division and Rotary Wing Academy. He is also a certified IRCA Lead Aerospace Auditor with expertise in ISO 9001, AS/EN 9100, 9110, 9120 and specifically trained on CAR 66/CAR 147, ISO 14001, 45001, 17025 , AS 9145, AS 9146 , Six Sigma , Root Cause Analysis, Dangerous Goods Regulations, MEMS, Safety Risk Management and EN 4179 / NDT Level 2 audit techniques. 


Team Members

A dedicated team of 10 personnel are the pillars of the Training Department. This includes 06 Instructors with varied experience in the aviation field ranging from 20 - 40 years and have been at the forefront of imparting Training to the Students Program, Mandatory Training under the CAR 145 / EASA 145 requirements and Type 147 Training. A dedicated team also manages day to day operations and administration of the various training courses. 


We are a propagating force with a quest to Make India an Aviation hub and our vision is to make The Air Works Aviation Academy a Centre of Excellence for imparting qualitative Training to all personnel involved in the Aviation Industry.
